GDT on Whimsy Stamps Blog Hop!!

Zoe October 16, 2010 25

Hi Everyone,

I am very excited to be joining the lovely ladies at Whimsy Stamps on this fabulous Halloween/Fall inspired blog hop!

To begin with I best go over the formalities
If you just came from Heike’s Blog you are on the right track
however if you just happened upon this page then I urge you to jump on over to Whimsy Inspirations Blog to begin the hop.Β  πŸ™‚

I asked Denise to challenge me and select some images on my behalf to play with and Denise knowing I love to create scenes suggested I might like to play with Bibble Bubble Cauldron, Witchy Little Gnome, and Stitched Happy Halloween

They are adorable!! I just love the whimsical images from Meljen’s Designs.

So using Photoshop I arranged all three images and then I decided to draw a star behind them. I was sent some Cryogen blending paper from my friend Sandy and I thought it was time I tried to use it properly so I decided I would play!

It’s very different to the Express-It I am used to. It’s great in that it doesn’t bleed easily but I did find I needed to work my colours more. It’s definitely up there though. πŸ™‚

The layout just sort of happened. Didn’t really have anything in mind and somehow I managed to end up with something not too bad. hehehe

Here’s a close up of this cute little scene.

Well you know what’s awesome about blog hops right?

Not only do you get to see a bunch of delightful eyecandy, there is often a few surprise goodies along the way and of course the grand prize at the end.

So, make sure you leave a comment here today in case I have a surprise… (plus I could do with a bit of love) hehehe

And of course it helps to get you in the draw for

Your choice of FIVE digi stamps from Whimsy Stamps AND a guest spot!!
wooohoooo what a fabulous opportunity! πŸ™‚

Your next stop on the hop is the fabulous Lorraine!

Happy Hopping, hugs and take care. πŸ™‚

Zoe, this is just adorable. Fabulous coloring as always. Funny, your comments are exactly what I think about the X-Press It paper. I can get the results I want on the Cryogen much quicker than I can on the Xpress-It. I guess it just depends on the technique and what paper you learned on. Congratulations on your guest DT spot with Whimsy. They are lucky to have you!

He looks like he’s on the hop with his cauldron mix!Is that a new anti aging cream or is it for sore legs? We need something for all this hopping that’s going around, it’s contagious hee hee
