Hello Everyone!!
I just don’t know where the time goes! Can’t believe I am a whole…. 32 years old today!! And to think it was just a couple of years ago when I was dreading the big 3-0… well that’s definitely come and gone now!
So of course I have to tell you about my day and a little bit of a lead up to today.
So a couple of weeks ago, I began to plan my own celebrations and put forth an idea to my beautiful team about releasing the NEW gorgeous CHRISTMAS stamps today with a little hop. Well that idea was immediately hi-jacked because apparently you can’t plan your own celebrations as it’s a bit like planning your own surprise birthday. So they have something up their sleeves and I am not quite sure what it is. I know they are playing with the new Christmas images and doing stuff and I know it STARTS HERE!!
BUT before you go I have more stuff to share… lol
So my birthday started like any other day. I woke up, rolled over and turned on my lappy. Downloaded some emails and clicked on one to facebook… With my eyes still blurry, I was awake in an immediate jolt when the most talented of all artists in blogland had created a very special surprise for me.

You see, Michelle has only graced us a few times with her special talent and to receive such a gift for my birthday left me in tears. The kind you get from laughing so hard that you wake the rest of the household! hahaa I of course just had to turn this incredible illustration into a digi and now a number of ladies have created some fantastic cards with it (but as Meesh would say – no where near as good as hers) lol If you want some laughs do come and JOIN US HERE on Facebook!
Moving on – so the rest of the morning panned out as normal. I received some gorgeous cards from around the world, some wonderful emails and messages from all over the place. HUGE thank you to you all! You are soooo sweet!!
Then DH thought we should head out for a spot of lunch around mid afternoon and so we headed to a cafe near by. We ordered a steak and chicken sandwich and coffee. Was a bit pricey at $50!! But it wouldn’t have been so bad if the buns weren’t rock hard, meat as dry and tough as you can imagine, no cheese, and extra $3 for a piece of bacon! Yeah DH pretty much wanted to pick up his plate and throw it at them… lol He says to me on the way home in the car… if it wasn’t your birthday I would have cracked it big time… I said he should have as it would have made it memorable!! LOL
So after a terrible lunch we arrived home and to my absolute surprise…. and they don’t even know I have it yet… the perfect surprise to brighten my day was sitting on the porch….
DH went running up to it, and at first I had thought he had organised to have it dropped off whilst we were away as I hadn’t received anything from him at this stage. But then he goes and says… “Well I am glad I didn’t buy you any flowers today, because I would have just been upstaged!” hahahaa So I picked them up, amazed that they were mine and brought them inside. Still in a little shock, I searched to find who they were from… And then my heart melted….

awwww… Girls, you have no idea how happy this has made me for the rest of today. I have been bouncing around on cloud nine. Thank you so much. It arrived at the ‘peeeeerfect’ moment today.

So whilst bouncing around on cloud nine I finished organising everything for the big Christmas release! I even made a card to share with you!
This is ‘Tinkles‘ and she is so sweet to colour!
Didn’t take too long to colour her up and as you can see I didn’t spend much time agonising over the card itself! LOL
Will be perfect for some nice quick Christmas Cards that have a bit of ‘spunk’ to them!
The snowflakes are from the ‘Snowflakes‘ chippies set and I just inked em up with a red ink pad and added some stickles.

to bad i can’t hop, i don’t have the time, i’m of to my hubby in the hospital but now i’ve to drive 1 1/2 hour to get to him, then 2 hours of visiting and than again 1 1/2 hours back, and than i’m broken sweetie,but the image is so funny they make for you, i can use a little bit of laughter
i have no words to tell you how sick my hubby is, and still after 5 weeks of the hospital there no improvement it only getting worse every day

They card said they were from the kiddos, so of course I thought him, not my MIL, I felt terrible!! I’m glad your birthday ended on a good note! I turned 32 in July and I was sick and hubby was away for work but my middle son remembered it was my b-day and they made me a huge picture and some fake money,lol…It was the best!

My day started waking to a very wet and overcast day here in Australia and when getting your email and hopping over to take a look Oh my goodness that picture by Michelle is so hilarious it brightened my day immediately. It is my husbands birthday today but he won’t be getting flowers as he didn’t get me any. In fact he forgot about mine in April

First Happy Birthday Zoe
Well I am stunned. I had all intentions of having my morning coffee, reading my emails and starting to sew my fancy dress dog costumes for my friend.
Then I get Zoe’s email and decide I should partake in my very first blog hop.
I had no idea what to expect and I must say I am amazed. The talent and creativity I have seen today on my 3hr trip has blown me away.
I have so many ideas floating around in my head now I don’t know if I will be able to concentrate enough to sew lol.

Then at 1:20pm hubby is still in his work clothes so I started to cry. He asked me what was wrong & I (in a very sad blubbering way) said “I just wanted to go out for the day!” So with that we scooted off to Scarborough (beach) for the afternoon. It was lovely except for the part where we forgot to get a car park ticket so got a parking fine instead lol lol lol!!!! Oh well!!!! Sorry I’ve not been about on here or FB for a while I’ve having a really tough time with my health & moving house stresses!!!

My birthday went something like this. Hubby got up at 6:20am to finish a job off so we could go out. It was raining & we were skint so my Zoo trip got called off
