Sponsoring Copic Creations

Hi Everyone,

I am very excited to announce that Make it Crafty is sponsoring Copic Creations for their current challenge no38! There are two challenges you can choose from or even combine!

One is colouring with browns and the other (my favourite of course!!) Creating a Scene!

I have offered the winner a set of 3 Copic Ciao markers (one of my fav brown combinations E43, E47 & E49) PLUS the winners choice of any three of my digi stamps!

I have been so busy that I asked Mag if she had time to help me out and join the lovely ladies as a guest. Check out the scene she created with the ‘Open Window‘ and of course the gorgeous Magnolias Tilda and Edwin!

Mag doesn’t know but I love Edwin’s socks the most. hahaha It looks like he is hiding the fact that he is really an elf hidden under there but his socks reveal all! Yes my imagination can be whacky at times! Also thought using material for the curtains was such a unique and super creative idea. 🙂

Now I have to HIGHLY recommend you pop on over to see the absolutely AMAZING cards the fabulous team at Copic Creations have created using the make it Crafty images. I can promise you, you will find your jaw hanging low. 🙂

Check out the AWESOME INSPIRATION
If you haven’t been there before and you love copics then this is definitely one challenge site to bookmark!

I had hoped to have a video ready in time for the challenge posting but unfortunately the first video had me waffling on for about 30 minutes and was definitely way too boring. Then I tried again with notes and I had a bunch of bloopers. FINALLY I decided to cut it short and just concentrate on one thing!!

So here is a ‘quicker’ video on colouring the background of the digi stamp ‘Forest Flower

Hope you pick up a little tip or two to walk away with. 🙂

I also made a couple more videos last night

Zoe’s Basic Blending Techniques (bit boring)

Next Sneaky Peek!

I have another little sneaky peek to share with you today for my Aussie mate Deb.

I mentioned yesterday that she is releasing the most adorable rubber stamps VERY soon.

My next little clue is that the release name is the following…
(I just decided we were playing hangman… hahaha)

T_ _    E m_ _ _ _d     _ _e_ _e     C_ _ _e c _ _ _n

and here’s a pic to wet your appetite…

OK that’s all from me today!

Hugs all and I hope you are having a really special day.

Take care

Beautiful card. I like the way the background kind of flows together leaving the images as the focal point. When I look closely, I notice all the details, but the initial impression is just of soft warm colours.

I watched all three videos and found them to be excellent teaching tools. I no longer have the focus and patience needed to do that much colouring, but if I wanted to learn, it would have been exactly what I needed to get going. Good job!
