Welcome to the Whimsy Stamps November 2012
rubber stamp and die release!
5 wonderful new Whimsy Shapeology Dies,
2 fabulous new Shape EZ by TLC templates,
2 beautiful Whimsy Designer Paper 6×6 packs and
2 new Whimsy Prints Collection pre-coloured topper sets.
These new goodies are available to buy right now from the Whimsy Stamps store along with all your Whimsy favourites.
I’m sure you’ve been enjoying all the amazing inspiration so far from the talented Whimsy gals & guy. 🙂
For my next card I thought I would have fun colouring up ‘Snowflake Fairy Princess‘ illustrated by Crissy.
As you may have noticed I’m going through the ‘less is more’ approach to card making and thus I had an idea to crop the little fairy before I began colouring to ‘frame’ her.
I love how it turned out and I am loving the wholeclean and simple approach. Plus is it much faster when making Chrismtas cards! hehe
I did however think the adorable little Winter Postage Stamps by Ann are perfect and decided I had to ink one up,
heat emboss it for a little texture and ass a little height with mounting foam.
Here’s the finished result!
And close up
I do love the effect of framing images by cropping them. You should give it a try too!
Can you find another way of looking at an image, just by cropping it?
