Playing with Melissa’s Balloon

Hi Everyone,

I just realised I haven’t made a post for the card I made using one of the new digi stamps by my new artist Elena. I just LOVE the expression on Melissa’s face and although it may seem funny to use her for a birthday card I really do think she is perfect for those who enjoy a bit of humour and it’s a small step away from the cutesy cute images.

The best part is having fun colouring the features on her face. You can really get in and add definition to that ‘unimpressed’ expression!!

As I was colouring Melissa the sentiment “What? You want my balloon too?!” popped into my head and so I just had to include it as a little extra along with the digi stamp.

I decided to keep the card quite simple but bright!!

The papers I used are from the Alora Collection by Bo Bunny.

I cut the flags out with a magnolia Doohickey

Melissa’s Balloon was coloured on Make it Colour paper

From memory the colours I used were:
E000, E01, E11, E13
G00, BG13 & BG49
Y11, Y13
E31, E35, E37, E59
