Playing with Melissa’s Balloon

Hi Everyone,

I just realised I haven’t made a post for the card I made using one of the new digi stamps by my new artist Elena. I just LOVE the expression on Melissa’s face and although it may seem funny to use her for a birthday card I really do think she is perfect for those who enjoy a bit of humour and it’s a small step away from the cutesy cute images. :)

The best part is having fun colouring the features on her face. You can really get in and add definition to that ‘unimpressed’ expression!!

As I was colouring Melissa the sentiment “What? You want my balloon too?!” popped into my head and so I just had to include it as a little extra along with the digi stamp. :)

Here’s the card I made.

And here’s a close up

I decided to keep the card quite simple but bright!!

The papers I used are from the Alora Collection by Bo Bunny.

I cut the flags out with a magnolia Doohickey

Melissa’s Balloon was coloured on Make it Colour paper

From memory the colours I used were:
E000, E01, E11, E13
G00, BG13 & BG49
Y11, Y13
E31, E35, E37, E59

How’s that for a super quick post!!
