HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
Wow, a whole year has flown by and as we say goodbye to 2010 we welcome new beginnings in 2011!

I can hardly believe that I sat here 1 year ago today designing this website and wrote my very first post in the intention of sharing some of my creations. Looking back, it is a wonderful way to keep a journal of my creative process, learning along the way to be who I am today. I have tried to share my good and bad projects, my experiences, thoughts and ideas and I am so humbled by the incredible support from this fabulous community.
When I began I had no idea what challenges really were and I entered my very first challenge at ‘The Pink Elephant‘. My card was TERRIBLE yet the ladies were so nice and welcomed me to their challenge being my very first time.
In February I fell in love with copic markers and it wasn’t long before the addiction set in and I had to learn EVERYTHING. I had so much trouble in the beginning but I watched, learned and PLAYED! Over a few months I began to get better and found my own rhythm and my own techniques for what worked for me. The rest is history. 
I have been so fortunate to have been on some fabulous teams where I have made wonderful friends, The Townscrapper, Karens Doodles, Sundays with Crissy, Fuzzy Wuzzy and to top it off I now have my own incredible team of talented ladies “The Colour Addicts“.
At the end of July I opened my craft store ‘Make it Crafty’ which had been a dream of mine and something I was working towards. The incredible support from friends, family and this fabulous community has been extraordinary. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I will stop now as I promised myself that I would try not to ramble too much and get all soppy.

CANDY UPDATE!! Jan 14th – My THANK YOU Candy
Well as some of my loyal followers may have read, a few days after my initial post I was appalled at myself for having not expressed how much I love you all properly in my blog candy New Year message. I was silly to have waited to write it up on New Years Day as it had turned out I had only had a few hours sleep and I was sitting here zombified thinking about everything I wanted to say but not actually EXPRESSING it!!
So I had been waiting for a parcel to arrive that had some goodies I couldn’t wait for but I wanted to share them! I have been wanting to put together another candy for my super special and loyal followers, my FRIENDS.
I made the card you might have seen yesterday especially for this special candy. For close ups click here
Now there is no new linky for this candy as this will be drawn a little differently. You still need to have entered my Anniversary Candy below where I will draw a SECOND random winner and a certain criteria must be met which I explain below.
This candy is a special thank you to the many of you who return often and leave me support. I have become friends with many of you where we email one another, chat on facebook or just by conversing on each other’s blogs.
I appreciate the time it takes to stop by, read my constant ramblings and then to type a message to share with me. We all know how much knowing that someone has stopped by means to us and of course I am no different.
I am just so happy to have been able to offer some inspiration to you all as you have for me.
As you may have guessed the criteria for winning this candy is as follows:

3. Supported me with comments on my creations
If you are a NEW follower, I am hoping you have followed because you WANT to and not just for some candy.
