Hi everyone,
It has been raining and raining and raaaining all day and night for the last couple of days and it doesn’t look like it will be drying up for the rest of the week. Unfortunately our little getaway plans for Christmas yesterday didn’t eventuate though we had a nice quiet day together. I hope you are enjoying your Christmas.
I decided to take advantage of the weather today and do some crafting.
I am trying to practice using different patterned papers and lace and flowers and stuff. Oh and glitter! heehee

I used my new Doohickey die for the tag. I just love it!

I thought I would try something different and I cut Tilda out using an oval die and then using a craft knife I cut around her arm and down each side of her legs. Then I slid the Doohickey border through the slots. It’s not bad but I had wished I had cut away from the edge near the right leg.
The swirls were cut on my machine and I covered them with liquid pearls and I coated all the flowers with stickles.

Tilda was coloured with copic markers on ‘Make it Colour‘ blending card.
Skin: E000, R20, E01, E11
Hair: E30, E33, E37, E29
Red: R20, R22, R24, R29, E19
Jeans: B000, B00, BG05, B95. B97
Shading: C02, C04, C07, C09
Tip: When I blend my cheek colour I lay E000 down first, then I lay down the rosy cheeks with R20 then I blend with E01 and continue to colour as normal. You can add more R20 if it isn’t pink enough for you.
I would like to share my card with the following challenges today:
- Stamp Somthing – Tags or Pockets
- Totally Gorjuss – For someone special
- Simon Says Stamp – Anything Goes
- Allsorts – Anything Goes
- Papertake Weekly – Anything Goes
Thanks for popping by today and if this weather continues I’ll have a chance to craft all week!
Hugs and take care

Very clever how you did the oval. Interesting combination of DP’s.

Absolutely gorgeous!
Hi there
I am thrilled you have joined in my “Free and Easy” theme at Allsorts this fortnight and confess to being astounded by the huge response – over 500 so far !
I usually like to visit every entry and say a few words about their creations, but the sheer volume so far along with the holiday preparations we all have to juggle means this is a “copied and pasted” message, for which I apologise.
Wishing you a very Happy New Year.
