Hopeful sweet scene

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are well and have been having some fun playing with your crafts or other activities you enjoy!

I am happy to finally be feeling motivated to play again and have a little something to share with you today. I had hoped to join in on the fun release with Whimsy Stamps this month but unfortunately I just ran out of time BUT I couldn’t let this gorgeous stamp ‘Hopeful’ go un-inked and so I coloured up a little scene for her using some MIC background stamps.

Hopeful – from Whimsy Stamps

In the background I have
Garden Fence and at the top I stamped Peaches of Plenty which clearly I have coloured as apples!!

As I was playing around with ideas for the layout I got all excited with the idea of making a layout scene and so out came my magnolia Doohickey dies and I cut the grass, fence and clouds and then I ran the clouds and fence through with an embossing folder to add some texture.

Then I added some flowers to bring out a bit of colour from the image, wrote up a little sentiment and attached my fav chippies the mini dragonflies – (seriously you can just pop em on anything and they look fab!!)

Of course the other half looks at my card and says – Are you making a joke having the flame extinguished and then saying you brighten my day?!  And I said – no I don’t need to have it lit because it is YOU that brightens my day!!  HAHA

OK that’s all from me today!!

Sending you some big Aussie squeezes!!

Adorable, Zoe. Your coloring is awesome as usual and I love the DPs, perfect for this scene. Sweet embossed elements; such a great card.
