I have the colouring bug! To be honest, it’s been a while since I have been in love with colouring and I’ve fallen head over hills again. So nice to have my mojo back. 🙂
For some craaaaazy reason I decided to try colouring up the Fairest of All Princess rubber stamp using the no lines technique. Talk about needing surgeons hands!
I took some pics a long the way to share via Instagram (Follow me!)
Wow the shirt folds were tough!
That’s why I started with them in case I made a huge mistake and needed to start over.
Getting her face right was tough too and the eyes… eeek Still don’t want to look too close. 🙂
I had fun colouring the folds on the skirt. Nice and big and not too difficult.
Her hair was crazy difficult and I am not entirely happy with it but it was so fine that it was the best I could do without a bit more practise. Looks OK held at arms length. 🙂
And the finished card and image taken in better light. 🙂
You can see I had a little whoopsie with the black ink dripping on her skirt whilst finishing her hair. Sad moment. 🙁
For those of you collecting colour combos…
Skin: E000, E01, E11, E13

Plus a bunch of similar coloured pencils to help tidy up areas.
All up she probably took around 5 hours to colour.
