Anastasia – MiC Fan

Hi Everyone,

I had a little competition last week on my Make it Crafty Facebook Page where I asked the fans to tell me their favourite MiC rubber stamp and I would select a winner and colour their chosen stamp.

The winner was Wendy Billings and she chose ‘Anastasia‘ as her favourite stamp. I started colouring her on Sunday and it didn’t take long before I wished I had stamped her with black lines. 😀

Here’s the step by step progress photos I took as I coloured.

And here’s the mess I made on my scratch pad that I colour on. I always end up with a mess as I clean off my copics or test colours.

And the finals…   da daaaa…  🙂

So much fiddly detail. Because I stamped her she is only about 4″ so all the little flower petals and features are quite small. Fine when you have a black line to hide your wonky hand… not so fine when you’re trying to go for the no lines look. hehee  All good practise I say!!

But here’s a close up for you to see just how hard some of those fiddly spots were.

Copic Colours:

Roses: RV10, RV23, R35, RV29, RV69
Flowers: V01, V04, V06, V09

Background: BG34, BG49

Skin: E000, E01, E11, E13

Hair: Y11, YR24, YR20, YR21, E39

Dark brown pencil, purple pencil, golden yellow pencil and light yellow pencil for a few touch ups

Thanks so much for popping by. I hope you’re having a wonderful day!

Big Squeezes

Zoe xoxo
