I wanted to stop in and share a special little fairy I have been colouring with you.
This little fairy is called the ‘Pink Fairy’ and she is featured in a very special book called ‘A Very Fairy Door’ written by Carlie & Kimberly Brown and illustrated by the gorgeous Krista Smith.
I asked Krista if she may let me colour one of the fairies so I could share just how beautiful they are in the hope that you may be inspired to make a pledge and get this adorable book off the ground.
Kickstarter has been around for a while but I am guessing some of you may never have heard of it – it’s a great way to ask for help when you are trying to start something new and need funds to help get it started. Printing a book is expensive and so Carlie and Kimberly need your help to bring this dream to life.
When you make a ‘pledge’ on Kickstarter, you are not charged straight away. It’s a promise to pay if Carlie & Kimberly reach their goal.
You can choose how much you would like to pledge and there are different rewards based on what you choose.
For example: Krista is offering 8 gorgeous fairies as digital stamps for approx $20USD.
The beautifully hard bound book and a little fairy door is approx $35USD, perfect for your children, grandchildren or niece in my case. wink emoticon
I hope you can help bring a little magic to someone special too – http://kck.st/1NqJKBc
