I’ve been busy making a bunch of Christmas cards with some images I already had coloured. IN this post I’ll share a few of the quick ones I put together.
Then using some watercolour paper I played around with the idea of using COPIC Refills to create a faux watercolour background.
You can watch my experiments here
I love the simplicity of this card using the Skinny Christmas Tree but it still seemed to take ages to make! haha
Using one of the ‘not yet released’ swiss dot edges, I stamped the green cardstock twice lining it up with my stamp-a-ma-jig and then sprinkled a dark green embossing powder on top which has a little touch of sparkle too.
Then using the lawn fawn stitched rectangles and hillside, I die cut the cardstock as seen and stuck them together.
The Merry Christmas sentiment is from CC Designs and was stamped on black cardstock and embossed with Ranger white embossing powder.
Here was a quick card I made with Elvette Santa List using some left over DP.
I love how the scroll turned out with a few wrinkles.
I wasn’t sure where this card was going but I think it turned out OK int he end.
I used some Lawn Fawn Christmas DP on the inside, LawnFawn Stiched Hillside and some vellum for the window and bottom edge.
The little elves are called Candy Elf Helpers
Finally I created a quick little card with Elvette Swinging which really I am not too impressed with.
I couldn’t find the right greens even though I have a huge pile and it is a perfect example of why it is best to pick your papers before colouring. ha!
The sentiment says Fa la la la la… and is part of the Angel Singing Carols Rubber Stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
