New Video on Folds/Pleats

Hi Everyone,

I have been receiving a number of questions about my folds and pleats that I didn’t really explain very well in my last videos on fold and pleats. So with the challenge of Pleats & Folds this week at Make it Colourful, I decided to make another video trying to explain it a little easier. Hopefully I have!!

Here’s the Video!

If you have trouble viewing it here you can see it on YouTube

Here is a close up of the final image. 🙂

This stamp is Tilda with Watering Can
She has a nice simple straight dress which is perfect for praticing folds in clothing. 🙂

Ignore her hair – not sure what I was doing there! 😛

Thanks for stopping by!!!! If you go off to play, pop back and link me up in a comment below!

    hi Zoe!
I was so excited when I saw this video you have produced. It is awesome and you make it look so easy….hmmmmm!!
I have just been coloring this Tilda and just couldn’t get the coloring right. I have brought myself some Promarkers and have absolutely no idea how to color with them. I can do the face and that’s about all. Today I will be practicing your folds and pleats so hopefully I have three colors that will go together. Who knows…if I get good enough I might join in on a challenge ha ha.
You are such a sweetie to do this video.
    Hugs Maz

Zoe: you’re a terrific teacher. I can follow the directions and learn the techniques but you can’t teach ‘touch’, I must have a leadfoot; I’m having a really hard time with the light touch.

Thanks so much for the second lesson on colouring pleats.
I think I might have got it now!!
Could you possibly tell us what Copics you are using.
Are they by any chance the first ones out? Don’t look like Sketch Markers.
