Copic Marker Video – Blending two colours

Zoe February 27, 2010 7

Well after creating my first video I thought it can’t be much worse to create two!

It seems I started to calm down a little more in this video and began to ‘talk’ a little more. Please excuse my ramblings. hee hee

I thought I would share how I blended my orange and yellow markers on the balloon in this card.

As mentioned in my previous post. I am new to Copic markers and so I am in no way an expert and I am not copic certified. I am jsut sharing my personal experiences with copic markers.

The markers I am using in this video are the ‘Original’ copic markers. I didn’t have access to ‘Sketch’ markers when I first started buying a few colours here and there. I actually started with about 6 colours. My two main skin tones, a dark blue, light blue, light green and a pink. At the time I would blend the pink and light blue to make a light purple and so on. That’s the beauty of copic markers.

I hope this helps some of you who are thinking about trying copic markers but the price scares you away. With this technique you can start out small and buy more as you can afford them.

The recipe for this video is:

  1. Y17 and YR07
  2. Angelina’s Balloon digital stamp from Mo Manning
  3. Gina K Pure Luxury card stock

I would love to hear if you gained something from my video and if you tried the technique I use, I would love to see your creation. Please link here in the comments or send it to me privately via the contact form on the right.

Thanks for watching.

Take care

Love your video, thanks for sharing!!! Can you tell me what kind of printer you use to print your digi stamps? I have a hard time getting my printer to take the heavier cardstock. Thank you so much.
